Immediately stop the development of Westcombe Park in Heybridge due to flooding!
Guarantee’s need to be given to residents of the surrounding roads that flooding won’t increase due to the development. Compensation needs to be agreed for any houses that are affected that haven’t been affected before the development!
Westcombe Park is being built against the will of the local people (who the council/gov work for)… there are properties that haven’t flooded in 500 years that will be at risk due to council/gov negligence! Ultimately the whole development needs be cancelled or if any house floods that hasn’t been flooded before, the developer/council should be financially liable for their incompetence and compensation due to the home owner! The whole development is a disgrace and needs to be reassessed!
