Impose Inclusive Guidelines for SEN Behaviour Policies in UK Academy Schools
We call upon the UK Government and Parliament to impose clear guidelines on inclusive behaviour policies in Academy schools, ensuring that the unique needs of Special Educational Needs (SEN) children are addressed, and suspensions and exclusions are minimised.
Current behaviour policies in Academy schools disproportionately affect SEN children, leading to an alarming rate of suspensions and exclusions. While schools have the autonomy to create their policies, the Government and Parliament have the responsibility to set requirements that promote inclusive education.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It's not clear if you would like the Government to publish guidelines on inclusive behaviour policies, or create new requirements for behaviour policies. It is also not clear why you feel that this should only apply to academies.
