Save our World War Two heritage
The last World War Two bomb shelter will be commercially exploited by Transport for London without action to stop them from doing so.
The undersigned want to save our national heritage through the protection of the Clapham South deep-level tunnel, it being one of only eight shelters of this type that exist, of which, seven are already being commercially rented.
This rare and invaluable space is an example of our national history, should be preserved and should be used for education as a living museum. We owe it to future generations not to erase the past for short term profit but to allow them access to our real national history.
The undersigned demand that this site is nationally protected and restored, with its useage protected for education and the preservation of history.
