Declare a State of Emergency so Small Boats Can Be Turned Back.
We must declare the ever increasing numbers of boats entering British Waters a National Emergency. By doing this we can stop small boats of mainly unknown men entering our waters and call on the French to collect them.
None of the measures outlined by the UK government have made any impact to numbers of small boats crossing the channel and that each measure is announced to placate the public.
By declaring a National State Of Emergency it will be within the governments authority to act without hindrance from lawyers and other NGOs that seem to work against the security of the Country and the people.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
There is no such thing in UK law as declaring a "State of Emergency". The Civil Contingencies Act 2004 allows for the making of temporary special legislation (emergency regulations) to help deal with the most serious of emergencies. The use of these powers would not prevent the Government from facing legal challenges against any policies implemented using these powers.
