Ban single-use plastic cutlery and plates in schools

Petition Details

There is too much use of single-use plastic in schools and I don’t want this to continue. Every day, millions of plastic knives and forks are used once before being thrown away when these could either be reusable metal ones or completely biodegradable ones. Our planet is dying.

Additional Information

I want the Government to help prevent the devastation to our planet by requiring schools to stop using single-use plastic knives forks and plates and use reusable or biodegradable ones instead. Did you know that 12 million tonnes of plastic finds its way into the ocean every single year? We need to take action and this is a good start.
