When people are at fault and have caused a road traffic collision, especially where this involves closures of roads and delay in business continuity, they should have to reattempt their test again, in line with current examination standards. This should be funded by the individual at fault.

This should help protect people’s safety on the roads from dangerous drivers by ensuring people can meet current driving standards. This could also help to prevent chaos on the roads caused by accidents, as well as help to prevent people suffering due to accidents. It could also reduce strain on emergency services as they may not have to attend as many accidents.
