Food delivery drivers who are working like self employed are exploited.
Food delivery drivers who are self-employed are being exploited by companies such as JustEat and UberEats, who have cut their pay per order by approximately 27% in the last 7 months.
For instance, in one area, drivers were paid around £5.5 per order for a 1.5 mile radius, but are now only paid £4.
JustEat and Uber don't care about the well-being of self drivers, as there are always others waiting to take their place.
The cost of living becomes even higher as JustEat and UberEats continue to pay us less.
Drivers now work more than 10 hours per day instead of 6 or 8 to earn the same amount of money.
Nobody cares who is delivering the food and how dangerous is becoming to drive so many hours.
We need some changes for this specific self-employed job.
Help us to get treated fairly.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about the employment conditions of people working in the gig economy, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
We could accept a petition calling on the Government to review working conditions for online food delivery workers, or introduce a minimum fee for gig economy workers, if either of those are things you'd like to happen.
