Exempt drivers with disabled relatives from any passenger restrictions
It has been reported that the Government is considering new rules that would ban new drivers under the age of 25 from carrying passengers for the first six months or year after passing a test. This could have serious impacts on disabled family members who rely on drivers.
I’m asking the Government to allow new drivers that have disabled family members to be exempt from any restrictions on carrying passengers, as this could adversely affect the quality of life and freedoms of people who rely on this mode of transport to enjoy quality of life improvements and to be able to attend hospital appointments etc.
