Reduce expensive insurance premiums for new pass HGV drivers.
HGV drivers who have recently passed their HGV driving test are facing unemployment due to recruitment agencies and haulage companies refusing to pay expensive insurance premiums to employ them. This is due to the lack of driving experience new pass HGV drivers have.
By reducing high insurance premiums for new pass HGV drivers, it will not only help to tackle the issue of unemployment, it will also help to tackle the HGV driver shortage in the UK.
