Petition Details

This education system means autistic people and people with SEND are made to suffer alone before getting help.

The system really is broken and not fit for purpose.

No parent should ever have to fight for their child.

System level reform is required to achieve real change.

Additional Information

I want to end the suffering of autistic people and people with SEND. No parent should ever have to fight for their child and no autistic child or with SEND should have to suffer alone just because the education system stops them getting help.

The Government has recently published a plan which aims to ensure children and young people across England with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) or in alternative provision (AP) will get high-quality, early support wherever they live in the country.
