Release equality impact assessment on removing work capability assessment

Petition Details

The Government has considered equality impacts of removing the work capability assessment, but has refused to release this because the details are still “being used to help shape government policy." We want the Government to release this assessment, in the interests of transparency.

Additional Information

We are concerned that removing this assessment could push persons who are already fighting an uphill battle into financial, emotional and physical hardships.
