Help nhs Sudanese staff to exit the country
Help nhs staff with visas to return safely to uk
50% of doctors working in the NHS are from abroad: many are from Sudan. Despite service to the nhs for several years and holding a visa they are not being helped to escape sudan unless uk passport holders. Over 70 doctors are in this position. I urge the UK government to help them return to the UK to their jobs here safely

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
On Saturday 29 April the Government made the decision to extend the evacuation criteria to include eligible non-British nationals in Sudan who are working as clinicians within the NHS, and their dependents who have leave to enter the UK: www.gov.uk/government/news/2197-people-safely-evacuated-from-sudan-by-the-uk
