The Monarchy, Parliament and Government should pledge allegiance to the public.
All parties should promise to act in the best interests of the public and no one else, not the Monarchy or a God (<1/2 people = Protestant). Acting in the interests of the people should mean to strive for the outcome that benefits the most amount of people, not themselves, peers or investors.
This country is broken. Since leaving the EU was first mentioned it has become clear those in power prioritise personal gain over serving the public. We need a system that protects the people from human nature and greed, this should also be extended to media companies.
All parties should be held to similar scrutiny as businesses outlined in marketing and advertising law. This includes penalties for including false or deceptive messages and leaving out important information.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about what pledges to swear are a matter for individuals, not the UK Government or Parliament.
