All cyclists over 16 to be insured to ride on the road
Make it law that all cyclists should have to purchase insurance and wear a high visibility jacket with a number to identify them.
Whilst some cyclists will ride sensibly and follow the rules of the road, there are some who believe that the rules do not apply to them.
Having a clear way to identify them, may encourage more of them to ride sensibly. Cyclists should have to purchase insurance. A high visibility jacket with a number on it should have to be worn. This way if they hit you, ride through red lights or something else, there is a way that they can be identified and held accountable.
