Ensure citizens obtain and are entitled to a minimum level of public service
I’d like the government to pass legislation to commit to a minimum level of public service. For example, dentist treatment.
I’d like this done because citizens pay and have paid National Insurance contributions and tax and in return they should be able to expect a minimum guaranteed level of public services. These seem to be gradually being eroded so limited or no service is becoming accepted but citizens are still paying for them

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about certain public services, but we're not sure exactly what you want the legislation you have proposed to do.
You refer to "a minimum level of public service", but it's not clear if you want new rights for members of the public, or new obligations on public service providers, and how you want these to work.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
