Why are consumers footing the bill for water companies’ lack of investment
Water companies have admitted blame for lack of investment in the system for a number of years. We are going to pay higher bills in the future due to this lack of investment with no reference to their own commitment from profits made from past bills and the payouts they had, and continue to receive
Ask questions about how they used past profits from over the period they did not invest. What profits they have made over that period, and the value of payouts and bonuses received, and how an ‘apology’ can then ask more from those the harm has been done to than the people at fault.
