Hold a referendum on renationalising all utilities, in particular water.
Take back control of our utilities. If we are going to end up paying for the enhancements over the next 20 years, because of failed business planning, then we should take back ownership. In any other realm they would be considered bankrupt as they cannot provide the service for which they charge.
If we are going to end up paying for the enhancements over the next 20 years, because of failed business planning, then we should take back ownership. In any other realm they would be considered bankrupt as they cannot provide the service for which they charge. They took profits when there would have been less if they had planned to offer the services for the long term. Their failure to plan and budget should not be our loss. A lesson for private equity!
