Petition Action

The promotion of sustainably sourced meat, fish and dairy in the food industry.

Petition Details

I am the founder of the movement SUS Meat striving to promote sustainable meat, fish and dairy. It's common knowledge that removing meat from our diet is more environmentally friendly way of life but is it really? It causes eating disorders low vitamins and minerals is this really the way forward?

Additional Information

We are omnivores we are meant to eat a balanced diet with fruit veg and also meat and dairy. School students shouldn't be made to give up a part of their diet due to being influenced by mislead parents and celebrities Take vegan burgers for example, big brands make cheap fatty patties full of sugar and salt. This is instead of helping the environment these cause un-healthy kids to be mislead in to thinking its good for them. Instead I propose the promotion of sustainably sourced meat and fish!

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We understand that you want to see sustainably sourced meat, fish and dairy promoted, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
