Use indelible ink to help prevent multiple voting in elections
In 2003 mandatory photographic voter identification was introduced in Northern Ireland. This was introduced nationwide in 2023.
I believe voter ID fraud is still too easy, and that the Government should require that voters receive an indelible ink mark on their thumb to prevent duplicate voting.
We believe photographic identification for voters does not sufficiently protect against fraud, and that voter fraud is still too easy to get away with, and difficult to investigate.
Indelible ink is used in India and a number of other countries to help prevent duplicate voting, and we want this to be implemented here.
