Additional Information

We must respect the rights of people in care, and those residing in private care homes should have the same protection under the law - the Human Rights Act - as those who reside in care homes provided by the public sector.

The government currently intends to deny people of that right under the provisions of this Bill.

This petition seeks to reverse that position.
