Petition Action

Lower Train Prices For All

Petition Details

I would like Government / Parliment To Discuss This As I Believe it Would Help Lower Carbon Emmissions (As Less People Will Feel The Need To Drive) And There May Be Less Strikes As If The Income From Trains Rise More Of The Profits Will Be Able To Go To The TFL And Drivers

Additional Information

This Idea Could Be Something Like Germanies Monthly Pass Which Goes For £43 And Offers Unlimited Travel (On Trains) For The Month

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.

You may wish to sign this petition which calls for a similar action:

Introduce 'Deutschland-Ticket'-style monthly public transport ticket for £40-45
petition.parliament.uk/petitions/636235

Or, if you would like to call for train ticket prices to be reformed in a different way to the above petition, you could start a new petition explaining clearly what changes you want.
