Fund lower train fares for all

Petition Details

I would like the Government to fund lower train fares for all, as I believe this would help reduce carbon emissions, by making public transport a less costly alternative to driving.

Additional Information

If reduced train fares lead to increased passenger numbers this could even make the train network more profitable, which could enable train operators to increase pay for staff and hopefully reduce strikes.
