Petition Action

Make it illegal for employers to advertise job vacancies without specifying the rate of pay being offered.

Additional Information

Please sign this petition to make it illegal for all employers to list job vacancies without first specifying the rate of pay being offered for that job.

How many times have you seen a suitable vacancy that sounds interesting, but with absolutely no detail of the rate of pay being offered?.

The government has allowed employers to offer jobs without even specifying to a prospective employee what the rate of pay is, the current situation demands that you apply for a job before you even know how much that job will pay, a totally and utterly ridiculous and unfair situation that wastes many hours of jobseekers time and effort.

Although many employers do say how much a job will pay up front, the vast majority do not. Who would apply for a job without first knowing what the rate of pay actually is? this is a complete and utter disgrace to all jobseekers and the situation needs to be addressed.
