Re-evaluate the honours list and it’s place in our political system.
Those who sign this petition wish for the honours list of former Prime Ministers to be removed and abolished from the Conventions of the United Kingdom.
It is clear that the honours list should be abolished due the the ethics and problematic morality of which having an honours list degrades the system. Peerages and honours should be reserved for the general public who perform selfless acts which benefit the country, those who have made significant contributions in their fields. Sitting in any chamber of Parliament is a reward alone. It shouldn’t require a life peerage or any other honour.
