Regulate and reduce road traffic noise, especially between 10.00 pm.and 7.00 am
Road traffic, especially motorcycles account for significant noise pollution in urban areas, especially London. This noise is detrimental to our health and wellbeing. We would like to petition parliament to regulate and reduce this noise immediately.
Road traffic noise, especially from motorcycles are higher than the decibel level considered safe for the human ear and are unregulated in urban areas across London and the UK

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you are concerned about noise from traffic, but we're not sure how you want this to be regulated.
There are already limits to the amount of noise that vehicles can make on public roads, and we could accept a petition calling new regulations to limit traffic noise during certain hours, but it would need to be clear what new regulations you wanted to be introduced. For example, we could accept a petition calling for a ban on certain vehicles, or driving over a certain speed, between certain hours.
If you want to start a new petition you'll need to provide your full name.
