Permanently scrap green levies on energy bills

Petition Details

We call on the Government to permanently scrap green levies on all energy bills. This is because these levies are set to be reintroduced, adding around £170 to the average annual energy bill.

Additional Information

We believe these levies are unnecessary - they are making something that is a necessity to all UK households more expensive, whilst households battle through the cost of living crisis.

People have seen dramatic rises in their energy bills and the Government should be doing all it can to help households out, which we believe should include permanently scraping these levies, which make energy more expensive for households.
