Replace Andrew Bailey as the “Governor” for the BoE
The Bank of England has continuously FAILED to keep inflation at around 2%. The BoE has then used the primary mechanism of increasing interest rates for thirteen consecutive occasions as a pathetic measure to control inflation. This has heaped misery upon millions of homeowner with mortgages.
A serious debate in parliament about the future autonomy of the Bank of England in the long term. In the short term Andrew Bailey’s position as “Governor” should be reviewed as a matter of urgency.
