Create safe routes for Iranians to apply for asylum in the UK

Petition Details

We want the Government to take urgent action to provide a safe and accessible pathway for Iranians at risk to seek asylum in the UK, including by making an out of country application for asylum.

Additional Information

The current situation in Iran faces challenges: political instability, human rights abuses, and persecution based on beliefs or circumstances.

By creating a route for Iranians at risk to apply for asylum seeker status outside the UK, and support them to get to the UK, the Government can provide a lifeline for those in dire need of safety and protection.

It is our moral duty to ensure they have the opportunity to seek refuge and rebuild their lives without fear of persecution and for some of them to join their family in the UK.
