This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. We can accept petitions calling for changes to private family law, but its application and implementation is largely a matter for social services and the courts, not the Government or Parliament.

You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
