Tougher punishments for racism in football
Racism should be abolished from society and this is one step closer to equality.
We believe there should be worse consequences for racist comments and actions in public, and on social media platforms. This includes fines or arrest for racist comments/actions in public and social media.
We live in a democratic society where all people should have access to basic human rights and should be free from discrimination. Racism is wrong in all circumstances and does not have a place in football. No discrimination should be shown or represented, so if you believe that racism is wrong then you should sign this petition.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
There are already offences that cover what you outline in your petition:

Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
