Hold a referendum on NET0
The implementation of Net0 comes with several economic and environmental concerns. Already burdened with taxes on energy bills, citizens deserve the opportunity to voice their opinion on the additional costs and restrictions this transition is imposing on households.
The argument that our overall CO2 emissions constitute only 1% By excluding public consultation, all main parties seemingly adopting Net0 risk ignoring A referendum with open, honest facts. Total cost of outsourcing our footprint in fossil fuels, overall effectiveness on reducing global emissions once complete, the carbon and environmental cost of building importing and replacing renewable technology, storage technology available and do we want to pay this?
