Against the cover ups in mistreatment of the elderly in care homes.
Change the procedure of investigation in to the investigation of abuse in care homes, so to include all evidence, by that of family visitors. Instead of these cases being ignored and brushed under the carpet.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action, and we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
Under the The Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014, care providers already have to establish and operate systems and processes to investigate, immediately upon becoming aware of, any allegation or evidence of such abuse.
If you want to complain about a care provider, including about how they have investigated allegations or evidence of abuse, you can find out how to do so here: www.cqc.org.uk/contact-us/how-complain/complain-about-service-or-provider
