Review on Forced Adoptions & Reform Appeals System for Family Reunification
Review adoption & foster care cases to protect human rights & ensure protocol adherence. Establish a fairer, accessible adoption appeals process considering the absence of legal aid for appeals. Uphold justice for children & families involved.
Every child deserves a fair assessment of their removal, ensuring their best interests are protected and their rights to a Family Life have been followed before removal.
The absence of legal aid funding for Adoption Appeals creates barriers to justice. Granting access to legal aid would promote transparency & fairness for Families wishing to gain access to their Birth Children.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you're concerned about certain arrangements for children being adopted, or put into foster care, against their parents' wishes, but we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
Your petition refers to establishing a fairer, accessible adoption appeals process, but goes on to talk about granting access to legal aid for these cases. It's therefore not clear if you want the Government to reform arrangements for challenging court orders for adoption or foster care, or just increase access to legal aid for these cases.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
