Move the school summer holidays to earlier
Move the united kingdom summer holiday dates to earlier. This will aĺlow children and their families to have a chance of enjoying the sun when the uk has it. Our weather has clearly changed over the years and this will help families to benefit from this.
By moving the 6 week holidays to earlier will prevent families from being fined when they want to take their families on holiday in the warmer periods. This will also benefit those older children taking exams in such hot and uncomfortable conditions. As It seems every year we are experiencing the same wet and dismal conditions that are colliding with the dates the children are off school. Surely this would make sense and maybe parents wont need to take children away from school for holidays.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want school summer holidays, but we're not sure exactly when you want these to be required to start.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
