Make it a legal requirement for all public spaces to offer separate sex toilets
I want it to be a legal requirement for all public spaces to have separate girl and boy toilets especially in educational settings where the most vulnerable young people are currently being made to use unisex toilets this is a huge safegaurding issue that everyone seems to be to scared to talk about
I am a mother who has been forced to take her eight year old daughter out of her primary school due to the forced unisex toilets the children were made to use my daughter was holding in her need to use the toilet as she was too scared to use the school toilets knowing boys would go in there bang doors look over and under this caused emotional distress for my daughter girls deserve to feel safe during their most intimate time using a toilet boys and girls need to be separate during this time.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
The School Premises (England) Regulations 2012 already require schools to have separate toilet facilities for boys and girls aged 8 years or over, except where the toilet facility is provided in a room that can be secured from the inside and that is intended for use by one pupil at a time: www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2012/1943/regulation/4/made
If you daughter's school is failing to meet the above legal requirements, you could complain about this. You can find out how to complain about a school here: www.gov.uk/complain-about-school
