Ensure assessors in Health Care sign all students work accurately and on time.
Students in all health care fields, such as Nurses, Doctors, Social workers, Physiotherapists, Paramedics, have all experienced an assessor who has not signed off the students proficiencies accurately or on time.
This causes serious stress for the student as they may face failure.
Being part of student forums and a student myself, these chat forums constantly consist of assessor complaints. Horror stories.
How the assessor is poorly treating the student, or claiming to “not have time”.
The assessor must undergo special training in order to get that position, even though they are not completing their work, which is crucial for the student to progress to the next stage.
Yet, the assessor will not fail if they are not completing all the paperwork? Why?

Decisions about assessors for healthcare students and their work are a matter for approved education institutions, not the UK Government or Parliament.
