Ban the sale of popcorn at classical music concerts
Classical music concerts require silence from audience members so that the music can be fully appreciated. In recent times, especially at the BBC Proms, popcorn has been sold. The consuming of popcorn is a noisy pursuit - this clearly shouldn’t be done whilst classical music is being performed.
An all party Parliament can lead by example, making it an offence to sell popcorn at classical music concerts.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about popcorn sales at classical music concerts are a matter for individual music venues, not the UK Government or Parliament.
