Create minimum standards 4 docs/processes for health/social care bids (England)
As a H&S care expert/bid manager, my observations are standards of procurement in H&S care sector are diabolical. Abandoned/poorly managed/inconsistent/challenged procurement exercises are costing taxpayers money/care providers stress/time/money/contracts and leaving vulnerable adults/kids more so
In 39 years I've seen standards of homecare increase since intro of national minimum care standards/regulation. Let's consult the sector on perception of procurement/how it's impacting businesses/service users/employees. Time wasted/repetition/poor documentation/inconsistent scoring/marking and awarding contract/mistakes/delays/CQC ratings used one county not next/no one policing/councils use untrained staff/cost makes challenges rare, but we challenge free where justified and this is increasing
