Stop further increase to Base Interest Rates set by the Bank of England
Stop further increase to Base Interest Rates set by the Bank of England.
Government/Parliament need to change how interest rates are stimulated by Bank of England especially during a national crisis or further national crises.
The Bank of England states they have been independent for 25 years. It is noteworthy, the monarch makes the appointment based on advice from Chancellor. The Bank of England further state they are trying to reach targets set by government. There is a failure from Treasury or appointed Governor as this doesn't work in the interest of British people.
