Ammendment to the Employment Rights Act 1996

Additional Information

To fix the unemployment rate in the UK there needs to be an ammendment to the Employment Rights Act 1996.

To help those on Job Seekers Allowance there needs to be a change of 0 hour contracts to become a minimum of 16+ hours a week by law, a employee must then be eligible for full time employment with a fixed salary if employed on the contract for more than 6 months, unless it is cited as seasonal work.

To help University Graduates out of work and gain money back into the Student Loans Department, employers must favour candidates with University education and view it as 3 years experience, otherwise the employer must offer a graduate internship scheme to help the candidate gain experience for future employment.

To help UK residing candidates employers must favour candidates that are British citizens, It should not be classed as discrimination if a British citizen is hired over an EU citizen residing outside the UK.
