Debate the introduction of statutory regulation for (NHS) Managers.
Legislate for the the establishment of a statutory regulatory body for NHS managers, equivalent to the GMC or NMC.
The introduction of statutory regulation for NHS Managers (similar to the existing regulation of doctors, nurses, and other professions allied to medicine provided by the GMC or NMC) will significantly reduce the possibility of tragedies like the Mid-Staffs Hospital scandal and more recently the delay in investigation at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
