Equalise visitor rules regarding length of stay between the UK and the EU
Ensure equality of treatment between UK citizens and EU citizens in terms of how long they can stay in each others' territories without requiring a visa.
Currently EU citizens can visit the UK for up to six months without the requirement for a visa. Such visitors can have several six month visits to the UK without the requirement for a visa as long as they adhere to the Home Office's published rules. In contrast UK citizens are restricted by Schengen regulations to ninety days in any one hundred and eighty days: a much more restrictive policy that clearly disadvantages UK travellers. This is clearly an unequal balance of systems.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure if you want the Government to reduce the time EU citizens can visit the UK without a visa, or seek rights for UK citizens to be able to spend longer in the EU without a visa.
We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
Seek agreement for visa-free travel to EU for six months a year: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/642486
If you want the Government to reduce the time EU citizens can visit the UK without a visa we could accept a petition requesting this.
