Protecting Tradesmen from Defamation Before Civil Court: An Essential Petition
In our society, tradesmen play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of various industries. This petition aims to shed light on the importance of protecting tradesmen from defamation before civil courts
Enforce a law or issue a contempt of court for this reason to protect businesses from damages while a civil case is on going, this being any social media posts, as the justice says innocent until proven guilty this should apply in civil law too!
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
Tradespeople can already take legal action for defamation, so we're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
