unfair dismissal from work after 7 years and 7 months loyal service as a pco/ prisoner custody officer

I martin hephzibah was trained ,badged and given clearance in may 2006 to be a pco/prisoner custody officer , and for 7 years a,7 months loyal good service i was on 11/12/13/ dismissed from my post because i did not put on a form a conviction from nearly 21 years ago , that i thought was spent and that i did not have to mention anymore. i do not think my dismissal is fair,or just .i have been a hardworker , kept the official secrets acts , and been told that if i get further clearance from the moj/ ministry of justice . that i could get my job back , as the company i did work for geo/amey saw me as a loyal hardworker from april 2006 until december 2013 .they are short staffed and all my previous work collegues want to see me back. can anyone please help . thank you .
