All school teachers to have a basic first aid qualification
Children are physically vulnerable as they charge around playgrounds, and in school classrooms, the more so if they have a disability or condition which may be life-threatening. Therefore all school teachers should have a basic first aid qualification to enable them to give assistance or to recognise the signs requiring an ambulance.
