Petition Details

To change the age to get a full car drivers licence to 16 years old. Since the current age to get a full drivers licence in the United Kingdom is 17.

Additional Information

The current age to get a full drivers licence is not acceptable and limits the ability of young people to travel by themselves. It is concerning that 16 year olds can have intercourse and move out of their residence as well as get a job, but not be able to drive a car independently.
