Childcare cost added to CMS' calculation
When CMS calculated the money to be awarded to the resident parent the amount is calculated as a flat rate and does not include costs for childcare arrangements.
A child in paid childcare provision has a similar calculation as when he/she is 5+ in full education. Often times the non-resident parent doesn't contribute to these costs and court proceedings to increase this CMS for a child in childcare is persued. It often is an elongated process that is avoidable.
When CMS applications are made the calculation should include a minimum of 50% cost for registered childcare provision for children in childcare.
