Create a park homes act Stop using 1983 mobile homes act for park homes
There are approximately 250,000 park homes in Britain. The 1983 mobile homes act is not suitable for this type of home. This act was created for caravans, mobile homes, holiday homes. All moveable at a moment's notice. Park homes are not.
Site owners and local councils are mistreating park home owners. The 10% bonus on home sales. The RPI or CPI being used as a windfall income when outgoing costs to the site owners are not linked to inflation. All utility rises are met by the homeowners not the site owners. Only maintenance is a cost which many site owners neglect and do not improve their parks. The RPI or CPI should not be a presumption.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We understand that you want to see changes to legislation governing park homes, but it's not clear what you want to be included in a 'Park Homes Act' that is different to the Mobile Homes Act.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
