Fund free travel for 16-19 year olds that are in further education
Support all school leavers that go into further education by funding free transport. Use it as an incentive and a reward.
Free travel should be available to all 16-19 year olds in further education. This supports the families to enable the child to enter further education and may make a positive contribution to later employment figures.
The expense of public transport can be a barrier to young people trying to access further education. Free travel would prevent this and help more young people to pursue further education and training.
