Turn of all lights in UK on bonfire night
The sky is beautiful at night and if you've seen the milky way galaxy before you know it's wonderful, but people near the capital can't due to light pollution I think during bonfire night all lights should be turned off(unless completely necessary). It's a perfect day since fireworks are happening.
This could also be a help with astronomers in the Uk who live in the capital to benefit of this aswell

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about when to turn off lights are a matter for individuals and businesses, not the UK Government or Parliament.
